How I work with your family

01

Parent Coaching

You are your child’s best teacher. I use a parent-centered coaching model to equip you with the skills and confidence to support your child’s feeding journey. Rather than jumping in hands-on, I observe real mealtimes and guide you through practical strategies — so together, we find what works best for your family.
02

Home-Based

I bring therapy to you, right in the comfort of your own home. Working in your child’s natural environment helps them feel safe and supported, and allows us to practice strategies in the places and routines that matter most — leading to greater progress and smoother carryover of skills into daily life.

Common questions

Why choose McKenna Feeding Therapy?

Unlike most SLPs, McKenna specializes specifically in infant feeding ages 0–5. She uses a parent-coaching model that prioritizes giving families the tools to support their child at home between sessions, and works closely with your child's medical team to ensure holistic, unified care.

What are your prices?

Initial Evaluation ($150) — 30–60 min in-home or virtual evaluation to assess feeding, determine goals, and establish therapy frequency.

Therapy Session ($100) — 30–60 min, in-home or virtual.

Consultation ($150/hr) — Billed in 15-min increments. An in-depth Zoom conversation with a feeding specialist about your child's needs.

Why don't you accept insurance?

Dealing with insurance involves extensive administrative time I'd rather spend on clients. Insurance also often reimburses only a fraction of what's billed — so instead, I've chosen to devote that energy to services that benefit you more directly.
